The single base is a round ring which the ceramic bowl sits within. The double base is like a silicone S and keeps two ceramic bowls in place. The silicone platform has extra grip to prevent the bowl from slipping. It’s been designed to stay put even when placed on an inclined surface. Each ceramic bowl holds 250g/200 ml. Silicone is not attached to the bowls so both pieces are easily cleaned.
